Hi, I’m Mel! I’m an Occupational Therapist (OT), board certified and licensed in Michigan, with a master’s degree from Baker College of Flint.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, supporting individuals with:
Autism and developmental delays
Sensory integration and processing differences
ADD/ADHD
Dyspraxia and motor coordination challenges
Self-regulation and strength-building
A wide range of physical and mental abilities
I’m passionate about continuing my professional growth and am currently studying sensory and reflex integration, neurosensorimotor therapy techniques, Total Muscle Release for tots, and the Tummy Time Method approach. I also specialize in pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and I’m proud to provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

I’ve traveled to Australia, Egypt, Italy, and India, and love exploring new places.
Food is my love language—I enjoy cooking and eating with friends and family.
My hobbies include crocheting, live music, caring for plants, reading, calligraphy, and running (I’ve completed 2 full marathons and 3 half marathons!).
I’m a gamer at heart—my favorite Nintendo Switch games are Mario, Pikmin 4, and Luigi’s Mansion.
I’m learning to sew and love spending time gardening outdoors.
For me, occupational therapy is all about helping people discover new skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the adventure of daily life. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey!
